Aerion Targaryen (Brightflame)

Second son of Maekar, called Brightflame. Cruel, vain, half-mad and convinced he was a dragon in human flesh; exiled to Lys for three years after he poured boiling wine down the throat of a man for spilling on his shoe. He died at the Red Keep drinking a goblet of wildfire in the conviction it would transform him; it did not. His son Maegor, born after his death to a Florent wife, was set aside at the Great Council of 233 AC.
